NCEA announces 2022-23 preseason rankings

WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced the 2022-23 preseason team rankings, determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
 
Coming in at No. 1 are the national champions of Oklahoma State. The 2022 runner-up Texas A&M claimed the No. 2 spot. After falling to the Cowgirls in the semifinals, the TCU Horned Frogs garnered No. 3. Sliding into the No. 4 spot is SMU, followed by Georgia at No. 5. The Auburn Tigers claimed No. 6, while the Baylor Bears took No. 7. Closing out the bottom three spots are Fresno State, UT Martin and South Carolina, respectively.

Taking the No. 1 spot, after clinching the Single Discipline national title, is Lynchburg, followed by the runner-up Sweet Briar. Sewanee claimed the No. 3 spot after making it to the semifinals in Ocala. Dartmouth and Sacred Heart garnered the last two spots.
