WHY DONATE
• Your horse's donation can make a significant difference in shaping the next generation of equestrians.
• Offering a "step down" for horses
• Potential tax deductions

IS YOUR HORSE A GOOD FIT?
Before contacting a school, ensure your horse meets these criteria:
• Trained in a discipline taught at the school
• Breed compatibility with the prgram
• Safe to handle and ride
• No significant medical or soundness issues - horse must be "usable" in program
• Well broke - typically VERY green horses are not acceptable

HORSE QUALIFICATIONS
• Coaches seek horses that know their job and are dependable.
• Horses with previous show careers but are unable to meet industry demands are often excellent candidates as collegiate competition schedules are typically less demanding than breed shows or high-level competitions.
